People are comparing the length of their arms with their feet in a bizarre craze so how do YOU me

A BONKERS new trend has seen social media users sharing snaps of themselves measuring their feet.

To complete the "challenge", the length of your foot must be the same as your forearm.

The craze has gone viral on Weibo, China's biggest social networking site.

It was first sparked by an episode of anime show Case Closed.

During an airing of the series, protagonist Detective Conan claimed that your foot should be the same length as your forearm.

As soon as the episode aired, viewers began putting this theory to the test.

Surprisingly, many of them found this statement to be correct.

As they measured up their feet, their toes perfectly touched their wrist and the end of their forearm.

One Weibo user said: "Before I tried it out, I was thinking lmao there is no way that they are the same length, like come on, obviously my foot is shorter.

"But then I compared it and ??? WTF??? It's really the same length... I'm sorry Conan I was wrong..."

Even though dozens of netizans proved the theory right, this wasn't the case for everyone.

Some people's feet fell short, while others were too big to complete the challenge.

One Case Closed fan grumbled: "How do I save my giant feet? No wonder I could never win anything as a child, my arms aren't long enough."

Another said: "Umm... Am I an exception?"

This isn't the first craze to sweep the internet in recent months.

A bizarre Eraser Challenge trend has seen school kids scrubbing skin off their arms using a rubber while reciting the alphabet.

And In January we told how there were fears bored teens were dislocating their thumbs ‘for fun’ as they shared revolting photos of their mangled digits online.
